MindTrade offers to its users a set of pre-built program templates that implement common strategies and simple tasks. Templates can be used as they are or to learn how the language works and take inspiration for creating new programs.
Templates are listed in their own page, that can be accessed by clicking on Templates from the MindTrade home page.
There are two different type of templates:
Default Templates: these templates are built from the Mindtrade developers and are available to all the users.
Your Templates: these are templates created and saved by you. Creating your templates is useful to be able to re-use programs that perform common tasks across different projects, without having to re-build them every single time.
All templates have a short name and a detailed description of the tasks they perform.
Creating your templates is very straightforward. After creating a program in the project editor, just click on the three dots icon next to your project name. Then hit Save project as template, choose a name and a description for the template and save it.
You will now be able to see the new template you just created inside Your Templates section and load it in a new project whenever you want. For details on how to load existing templates in new projects, refer to the Creating Projects section.
